Ferrari is one of the most iconic sports car brands in the world and its history dates back to 1947 when Enzo Ferrari founded the company in Maranello, Italy.

Before founding Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari worked for Alfa Romeo, a prestigious Italian automaker, where he developed his passion for designing racing cars. In 1939, Enzo left Alfa Romeo and founded his own racing team, Scuderia Ferrari.

After World War II, Scuderia Ferrari expanded and became a full-fledged automaker, producing its own racing cars. In 1947, Enzo officially founded Ferrari S.p.A. and unveiled its first car, the Ferrari 125 S, to the public.

Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Ferrari developed some of the most famous and iconic racing cars in the world, including the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta, Ferrari 250 GTO, and Ferrari 275 GTB. In 1962, Ferrari introduced its first road model, the Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2, which marked the beginning of production of road-going sports cars.

Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Ferrari continued to develop high-performance sports cars, including the Ferrari Testarossa and the Ferrari F40, which set a new standard in automotive performance and design.

In the 1990s, Ferrari launched the Ferrari 456 GT, its first car with a front-mounted V12 engine, and the Ferrari F355, which brought the company to a new level of technology and performance.

In the new millennium, Ferrari continued to innovate and develop high-end sports cars, including the Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari California, and the LaFerrari, Ferrari's first hybrid supercar.

In addition to producing luxury sports cars, Ferrari has also participated in and won numerous high-level motorsports competitions, including Formula 1, the World Endurance Championship, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Today, Ferrari is one of the most famous and recognized sports car brands in the world, with a range of models that continue to innovate and redefine the standards of automotive performance and design. The passion for innovation, technology, and high performance are still the principles that guide Ferrari into the 21st century.
